Does this new Hooters strategy make sense?
As you can see from the bikini contest video above, Hooters is still selling T&A. But according to this BusinessWeek article, the company is trying to re-position the brand as fun for the whole family. Sure, it’s getting competition from other breastaurants like Tilted Kilt and Twin Peaks, but does this shift really make sense? The Hooters girls aren’t going anywhere, so we’ll see of this works.
