SI responds to Danica Patrick tattoo controversy

As explained by SPORTSbyBROOKS, Sports Illustrated removed Danica Patrick’s tattoo from her back in the new SI swimsuit edition.

Now, SI has responded.

The Swimsuit Issue emphasizes natural beauty,” the spokesman told CNBC. “The freckles are left on and, in this case, the tattoos came off.
