We Were Invited!!!

The now infamous Sahalis protest tearfully that they were in fact not gate-crashers but invited guests to the first Obama White House State dinner. They implicate special assistant to the Secretary of Defense, Michele S. Jones, as the invitation extender (through a series of emails).

“This has been the most devastating thing that’s ever happened to us,” Tareq Salahi, along with his wife Michaele, told Matt Lauer in the couple’s first television interview. “We’re greatly saddened by all the circumstances that have been involved in portraying my wife and I as party crashers. I can tell you we did not party crash the White House.”

Apparently this is not the first time that this couple has found themselves on the receiving end of a “misunderstanding” about whether they were invited somewhere. Rumor has it that they are trying to drum up publicity to get their own reality TV show. Good job so far. We are all watching! *lol*

Interesting Choice Of Words

An unfortunate choice of wording from Utah’s Senator Buttars. He has reportedly called the gay-rights movement “probably the greatest threat to America,” likened gay activists to Muslim radicals and dubbed same-sex relationships “abominations.”
Watch this video as he attempts to clarify his position! (pun intended)
