Apparently just being awesome is enough to get a detention in some schools. For example, the student who insisted to his teacher that a kilometer was NOT longer than a mile. The teacher continued to insist that it was, indeed, longer. For defiance, and calling the teacher a liar, he was sent to detention. Never mind those pesky facts that you should be learning in..what was that place called again..oh yeah..School!
