Hot & Smart TV Girlfriends: Vote for your favorite TV crush
Posted by DieselTrain (01/30/2009 @ 6:31 pm)
Bullz-Eye.com put together a feature where you can vote on what TV girlfriends are the hottest and separated them into categories.
We have hand-selected 100 women from the last 40 years of television and put them into ten categories, based on personality type, career, intelligence (or lack thereof) and even marital status. We’ll unveil a new list each month, and you, gentle reader, will tell us which ones you would most like to have as your girlfriend. Once we’ve whittled the list down to one girlfriend from each category, we’ll pit them against each other and get the hell out of the way.
We only had one rule in assembling this list: each actress could only be listed once. No one took this news worse than Heather Locklear, who has done enough TV work to merit her own category, but cheer up, Heather: you made the cut, in a very winnable category, no less.
Check it out and make cast your vote over the next couple months!

Tina Fey for President!

Everyone loves Tina Fey!
Blogs and social-networking sites have spoken: Tina Fey should run for president.
The comedic actress and writer’s uncanny impersonations of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin have netted her a Social Media Index (SMI) score of 8,290, says “social advertising” firm Vitrue. That’s nearly twice the score Palin nets herself (4,330) and far higher than those of John McCain (3,090) and Barack Obama (4,700). (Democratic vice-presidential candidate Joe Biden is miles behind with a score of 601).
The data points to one conclusion, says Vitrue founder and chief executive Reggie Bradford: Fey is a more talked-about brand than any of the actual candidates. The index doesn’t measure whether the mentions are positive or negative, but Bradford believes brands should aim for a high score, regardless of sentiment. “Our adage is that if a brand is being talked about in social environments, that’s a good thing,” he says.
