$800,000 Loss on Correct Answer!

According to multiple sources, Post-it Notes were test-marketed in four cities in 1977, with the national roll-out following in 1980.Apart from the technicality that the product originally was sold under the name “Press & Peel” (which would be a stretch even if the category were “brands” instead of “inventions”), “C” was the correct answer. Therefore, the contestants should have lost only $80,000 (not $800,000) on the question.

Addictive Little Game

Here is an addictive little game using a tiny three-letter-word:
There is a 3 letter word embedded in each answer – the same word for each group. The position progresses each clue – 1st clue it’s in 1st position in the answer, 2nd clue the word is in 2nd position etc.
EXAMPLE:
If one of the 3 letter words was TEN, the first word could be TENnis, the second sTENographer, the third inTENtion, then bitTEN, etc (1st position, 2nd, 3rd, 4th…) Give it a try!
