


A Harley-Davidson that was swept out to sea during the Japanese earthquake and tsunami last March and then discovered over a year later in Canada will be used to memorialize the victims of the tragic event.
Harley-Davidson had initially offered to ship the bike back to Yokoyama, but the Japanese man who lost three members of his family and his home in the natural disaster requested it be preserved as a memorial and a reminder of the tragic event.

A list of keywords used by government analysts to scour the internet for evidence of threats to the U.S. has been released under the Freedom of Information Act. The words are included in the department’s 2011 ‘Analyst’s Desktop Binder‘ used by workers at their National Operations Center which instructs workers to identify ‘media reports that reflect adversely on DHS and response activities’. The Agency insists it only looks for evidence of genuine threats to the U.S. and not for signs of general dissent. *phew* I imagine we piss them off almost daily here at TokSick 😉
